The Staff in the doctor’s rooms at the Lake Macquarie Specialist Medical Centre are available to take appointments and bookings Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm. Sometimes clinics run late and you may be able to contact us after 5pm.
Dr Costa Karihaloo, Dr Jon Gani and Dr Christine O’Neill are supported by Kaaren, Louise, Cathy and Sharon who are very experienced staff and will be able to help you if you have difficulties with paperwork etc.
The doctor also has a Practice Nurse (Sharon Williams) working in the rooms. She may see you at your first visit and will be available after your operation to help with any questions about your wounds or if there are any concerns you have in the recovery period.
Cathy Harbury and Nicole West, experienced dieticians, are also available in the rooms during clinics. They have particular expertise in obesity and other areas of nutrition in which they may be able to help both before and, most importantly, after your operation.
